We offer two photography holidays – a Photography Course led by award-winning photographer Suzy Prior, and a Photo-Safari in Morocco with adventurous travel photographer Toby Savage.
Under the expert guidance of Suzy Prior, the aim of the course is to develop your photographic skills in many ways with opportunities to put theory into practice. Participants receive creative and technical direction in aspects of street photography, architecture, landscape and portraits. Group workshops take place in the mornings and are followed by afternoon excursions to nearby places of interest where participants can put theory into practice. Each day, participants share their images for discussion with the rest of the group. Photo clinic sessions are also offered where participants can benefit from one-to-one feedback with Suzy on any aspect of their work.
As well as being historically interesting, our venues are carefully chosen to ensure comfort, excellent food and wine and proximity to places of interest. All meals (except one evening meal) are included and consist of buffet breakfast, lunch, and three-course evening meal.
Airport transfers, as well as all transportation during the course is included in the price of the holiday. We supply a list of recommended flights to coincide with the coach transfer.
Our fantastic photo-safari in Morocco is led by intrepid travel photographer Toby Savage. Photographic opportunities abound as we travel by 4×4 from the vibrance of the city to mountain villages and desert wilderness. Highlights of the week include the souks of Marrakech, the spectacular Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, set of many Hollywood films, a night under the stars in a nomad tent and a camel ride across the dunes. Under Toby’s expert guidance we learn about the elements of a good photograph and hone our skills immersed in spectacular scenery.
In order to see the very best of this exciting country, this trip does involve some travelling. However, time is allocated for group tuition and there are always opportunities for participants to have one-to-one feedback with Toby on any aspect of their work. Participants receive guidance in aspects of street photography, architecture, landscape and portraits. On evenings where time allows, participants share their images for discussion with the rest of the group.
Accomodation is in small comfortable hotels and riads; for the night in the desert we will be in a bivouac of nomad tents.
